International Humanitarian Fact-Finding Commission and Organization of American States sign Collaboration Agreement [07/03/2013]
The International Humanitarian Fact-Finding Commission and the Organization of American States have signed a Cooperation Agreement with a view to promote the dissemination and better implementation of international humanitarian law in the Americas, including through the use of the good offices of the IHFFC.

States briefing and Reception during the Annual Meeting 2013 of the International Humanitarian Fact-Finding Commission (IHFFC) in Geneva [18/02/2013]
The Annual Meeting of the IHFFC will occur from 25th to 27th February 2013, in Geneva.
In the context of this meeting, the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs will organize a States briefing followed by a reception on tuesday 26th February from 17:30 - 19:30h. All Missions based in Genevea have been invited to participate. This reception will enable the President of the Commission to brief the States about the mission and purpose of the International Humanitarian Fact-Finding Commission. Reception during the 2012 Annual Meeting of the International Humanitarian Fact-Finding Commission (IHFFC) in Geneva [20/03/2012]
The IHFFC Annual Meeting will occur on 2nd to 4th April 2012, in Geneva. In the context of this meeting, the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs will organize a reception in order to present the new members of the Commission to States that have recognized its competence. This reception will also enable the members to present the objectives and actions that will be taken by the IHFFC under the next five years term.

The IHFFC has the regret to announce the death of Prof. Dr. Miodrag Starcevic [20/03/2012]
It is with deep sorrow that the IHFFC has to announce that Prof. Dr. Miodrag Starcevic, Member of the Commission since 2006, passed away a few days ago.
In the various functions he held over the years, he promoted with great devotion the knowledge and implementation of international humanitarian law in his country and in the world at large. He taught international humanitarian law in the Armed Forces and in universities in Serbia and was President of the Commission on International Humanitarian Law of the Serbian Red Cross. He also disseminated the humanitarian message internationally. Deeply devoted to human rights, his voice was heard and esteemed in the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and beyond, at the International Institute of Humanitarian Law in San Remo, at the Red Cross Conferences in Geneva, in The Hague and elsewhere.
Soon after his entry in the Commission, he became a very important and valuable member. We appreciated his valuable advice and his friendship. The members of the Commission will always remember him as a great humanitarian.
