The election will take place in November 2026 in Bern, Switzerland. Throughout the annual meeting, the members met and discussed with Thomas Gürber, Permanent Representative of Switzerland to the United Nations and other international organization, Marco Sassòli, Emeritus Professor in Public International Law at the University of Geneva, Philip Grant, TRIAL International's Executive Director, Cordula Droege, Chief Legal Officer and Head of the Legal Division of the ICRC.
