The IHFFC was invited to participate to the 24th session of the Assembly of States Parties of the International Criminal Court as an observer, held from 1-6 December 2025 at The Hague, the Netherlands. The Commission was represented by one of its members, professor Vaios Koutroulis, who delivered a statement on behalf of the Commission on Tuesday 2 December, at the General debate. The statement outlined the mandate of the Commission, underlining in particular its added value with respect to other existing avenues of ensuring the implementation of international humanitarian law.
